Citywide garage sales will be held June 6 through June 8, 2024. 

Maps will be available via online, Casey's on North Center Point, The Corner Store, and Center Point Foods.

Legislation approved by the Iowa Legislature made significant changes to the city budget approval and filing process. The new law requires cities to hold a public hearing on the proposed property tax levies and amounts as detailed in the Proposed Tax Rate Form. The City of Center Point will hold the public hearing on Tuesday, March 26th at 5:30pm, at City Hall, 200 Franklin Street. For comments or questions please call the City Clerk at 319-849-1508 x123.

The Parks and Recreation Commission has several openings including one from the City of Urbana. All appointments to the Board shall be for 2 years, except to fill vacancies.  The Parks and Recreation Commission meets on the 1st Wednesday of the Month at 6:00 pm. 

The Zoning Board of Adjustments has 1 openings. All appointments to the Board shall be for 5 years, except to fill vacancies.  The Zoning Board of Adjustments meets on a as needed basis on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month at 7:00 pm. 

The Planning and Zoning Commission has 0 openings.  All appointments to the Commission shall be a 5 year term.  The Planning and Zoning Commission meets on a as needed basis on the 3rd Monday of the Month at 6:00 pm.
