UDPATE:

The City Council voted unanimously to enter into a contract with Kluesner Sanitation beginning July 1, 2026. Additional details and transition information will be shared in the coming weeks.

We would like to sincerely thank Rudd Sanitation for their 30 years of dedicated service to our community. Their assistance with leaf vacuuming, community clean up days, and reliable service - even through difficult weather conditions-has been greatly appreciated.

Dear Residents,

The City has received 7 proposals in response to our recent request for trash and recycling service. This strong level of interest provides the City Council with meaningful options to evaluate in order to ensure quality service, reliability, and fair pricing for our community.

The Council will formally review the proposals and consider next steps at the February 24th, 2026 City Council Meeting at 6:00 pm. No final decision has been made, and Council members are carefully reviewing each submission.

Transparency and community input are important to this process. All proposals materials are available on the City's website for public review. We strongly encourage residents to review the information and share feedback with Council prior to the meeting or during the public comment portion of the meeting.

This decision will impact every household in the community, and Council values hearing from residents before moving forward.
