In the very early stages of planning for the expansion of the Andersen Center Point Library and community Center, the Board of Trustees worked closely with a Library Building Consultant and decided to build the facility large enough to meet our community needs for 25 years. Through community fundraising, grants, the support of the Center Point City Council, and the generous gifts of Ken and Marilyn Andersen this facility was ready to go from an idea to a reality.Construction began in 2015 and the final stages were completed at the end of 2016. The Andersen Family Community Room became available to rent in January 2017.
