The Friends of the Center Point Library support the Center Point Public Library with supplemental funding for additional programs and future growth. All funds donated to Friends stay with the library and are used to meet its needs. Some of these include the Children’s Summer Reading Program, the growth and maintenance of the computer lab, and the future expansion of the library.
The Friends provide funding and support to the library based on the goals set by the library director. We continually seek volunteer help and opinions from the community so we can improve the way we provide that support. If you would like to volunteer to help with a library activity or if you would like to attend a Friend’s board meeting, we welcome you. Contact Friends or the library for meeting times.
We would like to thank the community for support of the annual summer Book Sale. Thanks to all those who donated books and items for the sale. Don't forget to visit the Friends ongoing sale at our special bookshelf in the library.
Please continue to donate your used books to the library. What the library doesn’t need for their collection will be cycled into our ongoing book sale. If you would like to become a Member of Friends you may pick up a Membership application at the Library or contact us and we will mail you one. Your support has made our local library both a wonderful resource as well as a treasure of enjoyment for our community.
